June Update - Writing & Art Underway!

It's the end of June, and we have a brief update on the Venture Maidens Campaign Guide!

Art & Writing

Celeste is diligently writing, coordinating with the Venture Maidens team to put their world and escapades in text. We're about 1/3 of the way done with writing already - to be followed by copy editing, revisions, and proofreading. Lots to do, but plenty of time still!

From an art perspective, we've scoped the art for the book and are in contact with the artists with descriptions of the pieces! We're striving to maintain Venture Maidens themes in palette, tone, and content, working closely with the team, of course.

BackerKit

You should have received a survey for fulfillment of the Venture Maidens project through Backerkit (let us know if you haven't!). As mentioned previously, we'll be using this platform for downloads of digital items - including the Venture Maidens Campaign Guide, the Hell's Bells zines, and more!

Next Steps

The next Kickstarter update will be Sunday, August 1, 2021 or sooner.

Approximately every other update, we'll include the graphic above detailing progress on various parts of the project: Writing, Art, Formatting, Fulfillment, and an overall estimate. These often include elements ancillary to the category listed (such as "copy editing" in the Writing portion), and serve to keep us on track and show consistent progress!

May Update - Backerkit, Art & Writing

Hope everyone is doing great! We're very excited to share some quick updates on the Venture Maidens Campaign Guide!

Art & Writing

And we're off! The writing team is already putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboards, and the art for the project is scoped and starting to get underway. Celeste is getting the administrative and management infrastructure in place to organize all the moving parts and things are moving smoothly, and as anticipated. We can't wait to show you some art & writing progress as soon as we have something! Going to be great.

BackerKit

We're going to be locking submitted orders and charging cards end of day (PDT) on Monday, May 24. Please let us know via direct message if there are any questions or concerns on this. As this occurs, all currently published digital books you've purchased through Backerkit will be available through the digital downloads page here: https://venture-maidens.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards

Campaign Concluded! Next-Steps!

Thank you so much for all the support on the Venture Maidens Campaign Guide! We are so, so thrilled for the amazing support and are extremely excited to leap into development! There are a few housekeeping items we'd like to run by all you lovely people, so we'll keep this update short and to the point!

Next Steps

BackerKit

We'll be managing pledges, reward tiers, and pre-orders through BackerKit. We will be starting to send those within the next week, and will send a Kickstarter update when those are sent to everyone and we are starting to lock orders and pre-orders!

Note: Venture Maidens Add-Ons in BackerKit

The zines (print & pdf) and pins on fate will be available through BackerKit, but the Collector's Boxes and Dice will unfortunately not be (though Venture Maidens *may* have them for sale at a later date!), as these are produced in limited quantity and therefore only available through the Kickstarter for now.

It's time to hit the ground running! The writing team is keyed in and ready to roll, and we have the artists on-deck for the project. Celeste and the Maidens are going to be putting pen to paper over the next few months, which means expect to see art updates first, then writing. So excited to see the Venture Maidens style in both of these forms.

Hey, venturers! Since you all have been so amazing through this Kickstarter, we’ve decided to share another promo with you!
